Use Shelf Liner for Wall Stickers

Every kid needs wall decals but they are not cheap.

When we had our first child we bought some real adorable flower wall stickers to decorate her room with. When we moved from that house into another house we didn't want to pay $10-$15 for more wall stickers. So I decided that find something that would stick to walls and could be painted on. That is where I decided that shelf liner would be perfect.

You can get 6ft of white shelf liner at the dollar store.

Here is what we did.

You may notice that our stickers aren't sticking very well. This is true because these have been removed from walls about 3 different times.

All you got to do is draw your design/picture on the liner then cut it out and stick it to your wall.

Its that simple!!

Note: You may use this idea to let your spouse know how much you care by writing small notes on the liner and sticking it around the house.

Photo Date Night!!! Perfect for Valentines Day!!

Who doesn't like pictures with the one they love. If you are like me, you want pictures with you and your husband but when you have kids, and your pictures consist of either you and the kids or your husband and the kids.

Well I planned a date night with a camera. This date is not expensive and is super fun.

The rule is, you HAVE TO take 2 pictures at each date location.
Here is a walk through our date. Just so you can get a general idea of how Photo night works

This date was so fun and my husband got into taking the pictures, which allowed him to relax and forget about work. We took tons of picture and had a blast. I hope you enjoy this idea. There are so many other ideas that you can do, if you have any other ideas, comment below.

52 Reasons Cards

I found this really cute idea on Pinterest and me and my husband decided we would make these little books for each other for Christmas.
What you need: a deck of Cards, Ribbon, Paper (or pen), Hole punch

First you need to write 52 reasons why you love you spouse, sister, brother, grandparent, etc.

Then put one reason one each of the cards. I used a joker for the front and back cover

Then Just punch holes in each of the cards, thread the ribbon through and tie it off. You may need to melt the edges of the ribbon, mine was beginning to fray.

Ta-Da!! its all finished. Here is it from the front...

Here is a view of the inside.

Try to find a deck of card that would match some of the reasons.(example above)

For example....(above)

I hope you enjoy these. I know I really loved to see the strange things that my husband loves about me.

NOTE: If you are printing them out and placing them on cards make sure you change up when you are putting the reasons cause one end may be bigger than the other (picture 1) and maybe hard to place back into the box. My husband did his right (picture 2)
NOTE: You can just get a pen and write on the cards if you would like. I just don't have the best handwriting.
